A New Approach to Fitness Relaxation and Living at Donnington Valley Hotel

Donnington Valley Hotel’s new multi-million pound Health Club and Spa project is currently ahead of schedule, and set to open in the Autumn of 2006.

The luxury 4-star hotel, situated in Newbury just off junction 13 of the M4, is awaiting the opening of the complex to complete their transformation from a local hotel with a restaurant and 58 newly refurbished bedrooms, to a stylish destination for both leisure and business travellers.

The completion of the spa, as well as an additional 53 luxurious bedrooms that are also being built alongside, will be the realisation of plans for Donnington Valley first laid out 15 years ago.

The state-of-the-art development will see the centrepiece pool area boasting an 18m lap pool and generous poolside lounge and relaxation area, including a sun terrace. The wet area around the pool will include a spacious steam room, sauna, aromatherapy room plus a monsoon shower.

A key feature of the new sophisticated complex will be the large, air-conditioned gym and dance studio, which will specialise in the personal approach to fitness, with the latest equipment and technology, including personalised fitness profiling and a unique approach to motivation management.

The ground floor area will be completed by the elegant Club Lounge serving food and drinks overlooking the pool area through feature windows, offering members and residents alike the chance to totally relax in the comfortable surroundings.

Contemporary treatment suites on the first floor will provide an exclusive retreat with their own stylish reception, six individually designed treatment rooms, a relaxation area and a private roof terrace.
